Business Planner@LAS Corporation

LAS Corporation was a subsidiary of Daiei, one of the largest supermarket chains back then in Japan. It was a strategic human-resource supplier to the conglomeritic Daiei subsidiaries. It provided those companies with numerous temporary staff of a variety of professions, such as cashier staff, demonstration-sellers, inventory-taking staff and so on. LAS Corporation, along with those services of temporary staff filling, rendered service of procurement of executives and managers to the client companies, in mostly retail and wholesaling trades.

My skills in manager-procurement for small-sized and medium-sized business organizations, well utilized in Nihon Shoko Shinko-kai, were what LAS Corporation wanted to enjoy. Under one year employment terms, I successfully constructed mechanism of collecting the candidates, evaluating them, explaining to them values of job at retail trade, and motivating them to enter the client companies.

After the task was accomplished, I was asked by LAS Corporation to put hands on the other business problems. Establishing MSI-Group, I rendered the services including the following to the company as one of my clients.

1 Planning and facilitation of action-learning sessions for the managers
2 Composing time schedules of the initial registration process of the new staff
3 Lecturing the environment of the retail and wholesaling trade to the new managers
4 Reconstructing of the recruiting process of fish-processing staff
5 Creating skill-evaluation method over the fish-processing staff
6 Materializing the multi-divisional cross-selling approach toward the target customers
